The service

Yatoo.travel is an online travel agency and booking concierge that connects travelers with accommodation providers in Africa. We facilitate the booking process, handle payment collection, and disburse funds to business owners.

Our role

Yatoo acts as an intermediary between travelers and business owners. We are not the accommodation provider. The contract for the stay is between the traveler and the business owner. We facilitate the transaction and provide the technology platform.

For travelers

When you submit a booking inquiry, you are not yet committed. You commit to a booking only when you accept a proposal from the business and complete any required payment. You are responsible for providing accurate information (dates, guest count, contact details). Cancellation policies are set by each business and communicated in the proposal.

For business owners

By listing a business, you represent that you have the right to offer the accommodation. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, availability, and pricing. You must respond to booking inquiries in a timely manner. Yatoo reserves the right to suspend listings that violate these terms or receive repeated complaints.

Suppliers operating on behalf of Yatoo are additionally subject to our Supplier Terms of Service.

Commission and payments

Yatoo charges a commission on each completed booking. The commission is cost-plus: payment processing fees (charged by the payment provider) plus a Yatoo margin of 5% by default. The exact commission is visible in the owner dashboard for each booking. Payouts to business owners are processed after guest check-in via the owner's configured payout method.

Limitation of liability

Yatoo provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listed accommodations. We are not liable for disputes between travelers and business owners, business conditions, or cancellations. Our maximum liability is limited to the commission earned on the affected booking.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
